2022 Transmission Complete

The design and build of the 2022 transmission is now complete. Featuring an 8mm pitch Renold chain from a 100 tooth chainring on bespoke machined 130mm cranks. Drive trasmits through a fixed gear crossover axle running the chain down to a 14 tooth drive sprocket in the wheel hub. Crossover gears can be switched between races to adjust gear ratios from 8 to 11. Bespoke carbon forks are removable individualy from each side to faciltitate acccess, supported both above and below the headset bearings to improve crown stiffness, and suppoted laterally on roller bearing plates.
