WHPSC 2022 Day 3: 55mph

Morning run, crashed just after 3 mile marker, travelling around 55mph. Shell did exactly what it was supposed to do and protected Noah nicely as he slid into the brush, picking up about half the desert in the process!

Scraped in through the gap between the hatch and the faring

Our best guess is that this crack was the reason for the crash - Noah rolled over it just as he was switching lanes along the road.

All fixed back up during the afternoon, no serious damage, alhough the team will be up late filling and sanding again! Back out on the track for the afternoon and feeling confident.

Running order for Tuesday evening

Overcast conditions but light wind. Noah picking up speed down the track and we finished by clocking 55mph with legal wind! Super stoked, after several years of effort this is the fastest the bike has ever done.
