Chain efficiency testing rig complete

MSc Mechanical Engineering students Henrique Zanetic Chiesi and Noah Phillips have completed their research projects into chain drive efficiency, building a test rig based on the Full Tension Test method proposed by CeramicSpeed, and measuring torque losses in the chain between 8mm and 1/2” pitch chains (Henrique), and effects of lubrication (Noah). Results provide valuable data to support our choice of 8mm pitch chain, and decisions on which lubricants to use with it. Congratulations to both on succesful completion of their projects.
