WHPSC 2022 Day 0: Scrutineering and testing

Long drive over the Sierra Mountains, looking beautiful and eery in the drifting smoke from forest fires a few km to the south.

We were requested to find an additional means of making the hatch more secure in case of a crash. Cue trip to Lander Hardware store… before the racing has even started!

Then we made it out to Poo Lane (the dead end road that leads out of town to the sewage plant!) to do some final testing.
