WHPSC 2022 Day 1: Qualifying and first crash

Morning run on 2 1/2 mile course.

A slightly nervous wait for the first proper run.

Stabliser didn’t manage to retract, so only achieved 35 mph. Spent the afternoon adjusting the activation system of the stabiliser to be triggered from a brake lever at handlebars rather than on the side of the shell. Then back out to the track for the 5 mile course.

Low light conditions and a gusty wind.

…And Crash at arounf the 1000m mark. Probably a stray gust just shoved an inexperienced Noah sideways - he slid off into the brush and now the team have an evening of sanding and filling ahead aready!
